The short version: we don't want your data, we don't ask for an account, and your filing status, ages, balances, slider values, and state never leave your browser. Use this page like you would a paper worksheet.
What we don't collect
- No account, no email, no name, no phone number.
- Your inputs are processed entirely in your browser. They are never transmitted to our servers.
- If you click "Copy share link," the URL contains your inputs as query parameters — that's a choice you make locally, and it only travels to whomever you send the link.
- We don't sell, share, or rent any user data — we don't have any to sell.
What we do collect
- Anonymous, aggregate usage analytics — page views, browser type, and country (derived from your IP address at request time, not stored). Used only in aggregate to tell what content is useful.
Advertising
This site is free because it's supported by display advertising through Google AdSense. Our advertising partners may set their own cookies to serve relevant ads and measure performance. We do not share any of your filing status, balances, income, or conversion amounts with those partners — those values never leave your browser, so there is nothing for us to share.

Cookies and consent
On your first visit we show a cookie banner. Nothing beyond strictly-necessary storage is set until you choose. We use Google Consent Mode v2: advertising and analytics storage default to denied and are only enabled if you grant them. You can reject all non-essential cookies and the calculator still works exactly the same.
Deleting your data
Because we don't store anything server-side, the only place your data exists is on your device. Clear your browser's site data for rothcliff.com to remove it.
